Dr. Gary and Sheryl DurhamSenior Pastor
Being a teacher of the Word of God, co-laboring with the Holy Spirit of Christ, is my passion and adventure. Truth is beautiful, and Personal (Jesus Christ), but it is also liberating and life transforming as the Spirit of God anoints His truth to set the captives free. Seeing truth come alive in the lives of God’s people is to constantly witness a resurrection in process: one that will ultimately lead to the New Creation. Who wouldn’t feel the excitement and honor of being called to this service?

Gary and Irene MerrittExecutive Pastor
I rejoice every day at the privilege of being part of the faith community that is New Hope Fellowship. Being on staff here is the culmination of all the years of teaching, testing, and tempering that God has invested in my life. Irene and I are blessed to serve with such an extremely gifted and dedicated staff and experience love and Christian fellowship with a church family that is so authentic.
David and Rachel Evans
David and Rachel EvansWorship Pastor
David is what you would say ‘a pioneering veteran’ of the contemporary Christian music scene in Australia that specialized in praise and worship, evangelism. Over the last 20+ years he has been an integral ingredient in helping to establish most of Australia’s major Christian movements and churches e.g. Youth Alive, Hillsong, Hope centre – Brisbane, Influencers Church and Planetshakers. David felt strongly lead of the Lord through numerous prophetic confirmations and through some amazing turn of events to move to the U.S. and now serves at New Hope.

Nancy and I count it pure joy and a privilege to serve Jesus and the great people of New Hope Fellowship. It’s so good to be back at New Hope and have the opportunity and responsibility to reach and teach another generation of Young Adults about God’s Amazing Love & Saving Grace.

Diane and Steve RuddPastor and Office Manager
I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with a great group of people, and that the Lord has equipped me with the ability to do what needs to be done in the position of office manager. I love what I get to do and appreciate the freedom and flexibility in this position. Sometimes it is like Grand Central Station with Staff and Lay Leaders coming and going (vacations, camps, meetings away), and needing assistance, in their areas of ministry. During those times of the “rotating door” much work is done, sometimes in advance, to keep the church running smoothly. Planning ahead, being flexible, proper perspective of ministry, and a good sense of humor, along with giving and receiving divine love – that is how things are done around the office.
Jerome and Harriet Jackson
Jerome and Harriet JacksonDiscipleship Ministries
Being a retired pastor allows me to have the privilege of being a support team to the ministry of the church. My wife, Harriet, is a great help to me as we serve our Lord. I teach an adult Sunday school class on Sunday morning and a vibrant men’s Bible study on Thursday evening.
It is a joy in these years of my life to be able to serve my Lord wherever He leads.
Don and Melody White
Don and Melody WhiteConnection Pastor
Helping people connect to Christ and His Church is an amazing privilege. Though I have done other things, my heart has always been in pastoral ministry, and Melody & I are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside the wonderful church family at New Hope. My prayer and passion are that everyone who walks through our doors will find a place to belong as they grow in their love for Christ and their service to His Kingdom. Let me know how I can help you connect. Then, together we will turn our hearts toward others so they can find their place to belong, too.
Nancy Bruno
Nancy BrunoHigh Hopes Preschool Director
Being a preschool director has been the happiest and most rewarding experience I have had in my teaching career. I often feel like the conductor of a very important orchestra whose outcome and success depends on me. Working with the parents who ask my advice on many issues involving their children is warmth to my heart. Teaching chapel is a real blessing to me as well as the children. These little people are so open, honest and are truly inspiring. My job is the best in the world.
